The sermon message is the same in both services but the worship styles allow you to enjoy an atmosphere and/or worship time of your choosing. 

8:30 am  EARLY SERVICE (Traditional)

Encompassing a more traditional style of worship you'll experience a music blend that includes songs from the hymnal, as well as music performed by the adult & senior adult choirs. A Children's sermon is provided when the kids gather at the front of the sanctuary for a brief message from the Children's minister. Afterwards, they return to their seats to continue worship with their loved ones. As a nod to the more traditional atmosphere, you'll see Pastor Steve wearing a suit coat & tie during this service but don't let that fool you, Piney Grove is a laid back, come-as-you-are kind of place where the best thing to wear is whatever you're most comfortable in. It's definitely not about the clothes! 

11:00 am LATE SERVICE (Modern)

This contemporary style service includes guitar driven sounds, drums, and an upbeat selection of today's worship music led by the Praise team. Song lyrics are provided on the big screen and Pastor Steve will be wearing casual attire usually including Jeans. After the opening worship songs, Children are invited to head to Kids Worship (ages 1st-6th grade) or Preschool Worship (ages 3 years old thru Kindergarten) where they enjoy an experience designed specifically for them. 

11:00 am KIDS WORSHIP

This service is a high-energy experience designed to allow kids to worship God on their level in a way that speaks to their young hearts and minds. Activities in kids worship includes a Bible lesson, prayer time, songs, games, crafts, and snack. Parents, don't be surprised if your kids leave begging you to come back next week so they can worship some more! 

Two age groups are provided: 

- Preschool (ages 3 years old - Kindergarten) meets upstairs in the Preschool department. 

- Grade School (ages 1st grade - 6th grade) meets downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. 

Parents, please be sure to check-in your Pre-School kids in at the Welcome center desk before 11:00 am. They'll receive a name tag and you'll receive a pick-up slip for each child. You will need to check-in your Elementary age kids off at our Fellowship Hall door where they meet for Kids Worship each Sunday. Greeters will be available to help guide you to the right place.

Afterwards, children may be picked up by only the person(s) designated on their name tag.
