Every 3 years we all come together for a weekend of community work. Everything from yard work, gardening, painting to home repair and roofing. Everyone in the church gets involved...from children to senior adults. We have meals at the church and evening worship services as well.
We are a church based community garden reaching out to those in need by sharing Gods goodness in the form of fresh vegetables from our garden.
Garden of Eaten Mission
The purpose of the Garden of Eaten is to bear fruit in addition to vegetables, to feed the hungry with a source of wholesome food, and to be a place of hospitality and witness to our neighbors. Join us on Facebook!
We support a children's home in Coban, Guatemala. Piney Grove has been a part of this ministry since 2011. We support New Hope through prayer, finances and through regular mission trips to the home in Guatemala. Financially we support their education program with the children as well as their building program. If you would like to help in our efforts to financially support New Hope, you can go to the giving page on this website. During the summer of 2018 we will be traveling to the home with 40 youth and adults over 3 week period. Click on the logo and watch an informational video.
We are a friendly bunch of crafty folks (men and women) who get together the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month @ 10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall to make lap blankets, baby blankets, baby hats, etc. Every item is made with love and then prayed over prior to presenting it to someone who needs a little hope and love in their life.
Don't know how to crochet? NOT A PROBLEM. If you have the desire to learn...we will teach you. It's really easy. If you want to drop by sometime just to watch, we would love to see you! If you don't actually want to crochet anything but would still like to help in the ministry, you can! We welcome any donations of yarn or other materials and/or monetary donations so we can purchase the materials to continue this ministry. Join us on Facebook!
