This is an outdoor ministry for boys ages 8 - 18, specifically boys from homes without Dads, or without a good Christian male role model. This is a mentoring program where men from our church will invest in the boys who participate in this program. All of our leaders have passed a background check and have gone through extensive training on how to be a godly and effective mentor. The average kid spends 40 minutes a week outside and 70 hours in front of a screen. This trend is creating an unhealthy mental, physical, and spiritual population especially among our boys today. However, every socioeconomic, health, and mental statistic improves substantially when a boy receives a mentor. The KOZ leader’s ability to share the love of Jesus and a Heavenly Father can help change the boys. We choose the outdoors for many reasons but one is because an outdoor setting creates an atmosphere where boys are more attentive and can focus on the time with their KOZ leader and the gift of knowing Jesus. This group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8:30am - 12:30pm and includes lunch. (NOTE: April's meeting will be on April 26th this year) There is no cost for the group!
