Piney Grove Baptist Church is working with Wake County Human Services and the Wake County Public School System to help provide food and meals for those in our community who have been devastated by the school and business closures due to the virus pandemic.  

FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION     Last Day is Friday, Aug 28!

Piney Grove Baptist Church will serve as a FOOD COLLECTION LOCATION for the surrounding community. Volunteers will then sort the food donations and assemble bags of food that will be distributed to families in need in our immediate community. 

FOOD DRIVE DROP-OFF: Friday  10:00 am - 12:00 pm (Noon)

Location: 3217 Piney Grove-Wilbon Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

- Drive to the youth building located in the lower parking lot.

- When you arrive, DO NOT get out of your vehicle. A volunteer will come to your vehicle and get your donations. Please honk your horn so they know you have arrived. 

FOOD BAG DISTRIBUTION   Last Day is Friday, Aug 28!

Piney Grove Baptist Church is a drive thru food pick-up location. Bagged groceries are provided to anyone in need.

Drive Thru Pick-Up Instructions

- Drive to the youth building located in the lower parking lot and pull up to the designated loading area. 

- When you arrive, STAY INSIDE your vehicle. A volunteer will bring the groceries to your vehicle. 

- Any family who needs food is allowed to come and get groceries. No ID required.

FOOD DRIVE RESULTS & THANK YOU

The last day for the Piney Grove Food Drive is this Friday, August 28, 2020. Thankfully the time of greatest need for food in our community has passed and any families still needing food support have other local resources accommodating them. We give a HUGE thank you to all those who have contributed food, funds, and many, many hours of volunteer time. Together, we have made a significant impact in our community. Pastor Mike and the Food Insecurities team here at Piney Grove is actively working with our local community organizations to pinpoint other areas where we can provide the most help. Keep your eyes out for other projects coming in the future.
