GArden of Eaten

We are a church based community garden reaching out to those in need by sharing Gods goodness in the form of fresh vegetables from our garden.

Garden of Eaten Mission

The purpose of the Garden of Eaten is to bear fruit in addition to vegetables, to feed the hungry with a source of wholesome food, and to be a place of hospitality and witness to our neighbors. Get updates, watch our garden grow, and see the latest happening on Facebook!

Hands of LOve

We are a friendly bunch of crafty folks (men and women) who get together the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month @ 10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall to make lap blankets, baby blankets, baby hats, etc. Every item is made with love and then prayed over prior to presenting it to someone who needs a little hope and love in their life.

Don't know how to crochet? NOT A PROBLEM. If you have the desire to learn...we will teach you. It's really easy. If you want to drop by sometime just to watch, we would love to see you! If you don't actually want to crochet anything but would still like to help in the ministry, you can! We welcome any donations of yarn or other materials and/or monetary donations so we can purchase the materials to continue this ministry. Join us on Facebook!

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

We seek to develop ongoing partnerships with several missionaries in foreign countries. These partnerships consist of taking short term teams to serve alongside missionaries, giving financial support and praying consistently for the work these partners in ministry are doing.  We currently partner with a ministry in Coban, Guatemala called Misioneros sin Fronteras (Missionaries without Borders) and New Hope Medical Center. Piney Grove has been involved with this ministry since 2011. This ministry used to be New Hope children's home but now are focusing on providing a medical center to help malnourished children.

We are currently working out details to partner with missionaries in the country of Slovenia which would include short term discipleship teams, financial support, and prayer support. If you would like to help in our efforts to financially support our mission partnerships, you can go to the giving page on this website.

SUPPORT

TLC (Transforming LIves For Christ)

Every 3 years we all come together for a weekend of community work.  Everything from sewing, crafting, yard work, gardening, painting, and home repair.  Everyone in the church, and several from the community gets involved...from children to senior adults. We work hard all day and then enjoy a nice meal at the church. We finish off each evening with a celebrative time of praise and worship.
