SITTING WITH THE DISCIPLES:

Interactive Last Supper Experience

THURSDAY, APRIL 14th  |  7:00 pm

Student Building- Worship Center (Lower Parking Lot)

Bring the family out for a true hands-on Upper Room Experience. We will have a huge family-style table set with all the elements traditionally used for a Seder Meal. As we journey through this 'Remembrance Feast' we will explore the individual elements, and you and your family will have the opportunity to actually taste them just as they might have tasted in Jesus' time.

This meaningful evening will leave you with hearts prepared for what occurred on the cross on Good Friday and ready for the Celebration of Easter Sunday.

Dress is casual and the experience will last about an hour. This is designed to be a family-oriented experience so nursery will not be provided for this event. Instead, bring the kids and help them learn about the real events of Easter. Please note that although this is called a ‘meal’, it is not designed to take the place of your regular dinner that night.

This event is free and the community is invited.

Space is limited. SIGN-UP REQUIRED.

FLOWERING THE CROSS

On Easter Sunday, we invite you to be part of the Flowering of the Cross, an ancient and meaningful tradition that represents the transition from Good Friday to Easter, from meditation on Jesus' death to joyful celebration of the resurrection.

When you arrive for the 8:30 am or the 11:00 am worship service, each person will be invited to place a flower on the cross in the sanctuary. (Flowers will be provided) Together we will transform a barren, rugged cross, a reminder of Jesus' death, into an Easter symbol. Covered with fresh, living flowers, the cross serves not only as an emblem of Jesus' resurrection but also of the continuing presence of Christ among today's Christians. Together, let us make this Easter a celebration of new life!
